LANDMARK STUDY ON DESIGN CAPABILITY IN ONTARIO

In 2004 DIAC undertook a landmark study of design capability in Ontario. The results demonstrated that Ontario is a design hub for North America. The research also demonstrated that Toronto, with 25000 designers in the workforce, is the third largest centre for design after New York and Boston.
