Design Matters Study

In 2004 DIAC undertook a landmark study of design capability in Ontario. The results demonstrated that Ontario is a design hub for North America. The research also demonstrated that Toronto, with 25000 designers in the workforce, is the third largest centre for design after New York and Boston. The study presents a four-step action plan to leverage the cross-disciplinary skills of designers at a higher level.
